This place was rocking. Had a small family lunch here. The service was absolutely phenomenal. The server was on top of clearing dishes, refilling drinks, and making sure we had what we needed. The group had multiple appetizers and everything was good. I think the fried zucchini was the best. Main courses ranged from personal pizzas to sandwiches to salad to pasta. Everybody enjoyed their meal. Very well ran establishment.
I LOVE their wedding soup! Its so simple but so good. I do have to say for some reason I loved when it used to come in a mug but it now comes in the normal soup cup. All of the food I have had here has been great. Their chicken sandwich is great and so is the tuna flat bread. I also love their wings and I am a sucker for a good wedge salad. The inside is alway clean and the service has always been good also. I also think they are fairly priced.
We love Gianna Via's, which is just five minutes from my home in Whitehall. I think they sometimes get a little overshadowed by being in the same Caste Village complex as Armstrongs, which is also great, but that's a shame. They have a wood-fired oven than that produces some of the best pizzas around, and in my opinion that is definitely the thing to get here, but I don't think I've ever had anything that wasn't good...
Wow, what an unexpected surprise! Gianna Via's isn't in an area that I usually frequent for dinner, but it's a place that I've drove by several times and decided to give it a shot. And I'm very glad that I did! The service was so, so. But the staff was very kind and friendly so it made up for it. The menu was extensive, items ranging from steak and crab cakes to sandwiches and chicken wings...
I love going here! It's always busy but never overly crowded. The food is consistently good. I love the chicken Milano salad and the Italian nachos. My husband always gets a pasta or pizza and has been happy with his picks. The staff has always taken care of us. I have also been there for breakfast and wish they would bring back the lattes. That is my only complaint.
